I just took the aleks math placement test and got a 47 Although my score qualifies me to take calc, i feel far more comfortable starting with college algebra. I know that’s really bad

I’m concerned about the impact this will have on me when i start school in the fall My college requires a score of 46+ to take college algebra, and a score of 61+ to take calculus I’ve gotten a’s and b’s in my math classes during high school and i think that i was able to get a 4 on my ap statistics exam.

Since there is only one test for all levels of math and the topics could be determined by the college, it is hard to say how hard it will be for you to get a 46 However, if you don’t get the score you want/need on. Aleks has 3 ace approved stats courses (intro to stats, business stats, & stats for behavioral sciences.) they're pretty much the same course, some of the questions are worded differently (the business courses use business examples in the word problems and so on.) the transcript will come from ace, so if you school will accept ace credit courses, you should be good, i'd check with them first. Since aleks gets ace credit they need to keep the integrity of there courses from being easy to cheat If you mean to paste the problem into a document to print and study once you ask for an explanation you can print it out for further reference. The aleks theory is that it just naturally expands one’s math understanding without really needing lectures/detailed explanations, using an artificial intelligence engine to keep presenting kids with the “next step” of math
